Sharing overload!!

Good morning everyone i just wanted to pop on today to share a few things i have done over the past few days but first i wanted to mention that i was chosen as one of the May winners, along with 12 other ladies, out of 124 entries for my entry over at Once Upon A...Sketch. I am so happy and i thank the talented Nadia Cannizzo for choosing my page and her lovely words about my page. To check it all out and to see the other winning entries pop over here. So now onto business. I wanted to share my page that i finished last night for the Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch #1. I used the range from the Tigerlilly Collection. This is probably my favourite range at the moment because it is girly but also a little funky. I scrapped my eldest when she was only a month old. 8 years on and i still don't get tired of scrapping her baby photos. So here is the sketch...

Here is my interpretation of the sketch...

I also wanted to share a page that i did for Case File #22 over at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration. I quite enjoyed this one because i never scrap with these colours together and i am glad i managed to complete it. I like to keep all the cases as reference for later so i can use the colour combos again and again so keep your eyes open for another page using these in the near future! Here is the case..

This is what i created with it, i wanted to create a page of my youngest showing just how beautiful she is both inside and out.

The evidence i managed to use was ribbon, corrugation (the photo matt), wet medium, a border punch (which i sadly broke doing this page), yarn (which i saturated in Glimmermist because it was a different colour)  and for my testimony i started my journalling with Once upon a time. I journalled on a tag, which is tucked behind my photo, which i cut out using my Cricut. So we come to my last share for this post. My cousin and his partner had a beautiful little girl the other day so i created a frame and card for them. What do you give someone who has everything? I love making handmade gifts for people. So here is what i made, something quick and easy but effective. This time i made sure i got a photo too, probs not the best photo but a photo none the less and taken in a mad rush before i walked out the door.

Okay so if you have made it this far thanks for dropping by. I am now off to do housework so i can scrap guilt free tonight. I do not know why it takes so long to do housework and only a second to make a mess!! Anyway until next time keep scrapping, i know i will. xoxox
