Trying to get some creative juices flowing after all my studying so i popped on over to the Get Picky blog and used their sketch as a bit of inspiration.

So here is what i did a little bit different in the colour scheme for me but i like it!

I used a parts from a kit i bought and i used these photos taken from Katrina Elliott in 2008 i never get tired of scrapping them, to me it shows the essence of motherhood. Instead of pattern paper i decided to use a mask instead.

Where has January gone?

Well the funny thing is when life happens blogs get neglected. I didn't even have time to post my New Years Resolution or anything for that matter. So to start, although it is late, I have finally decided on my scrapbooking New Years Resolution.......Always finish the project i am on before proceeding to the next one! I am always not finishing pages, my pile of pages and projects half finished is through the roof! I can't help it i get bored or stuck or suddenly i have a really good idea for something else and off i go casting aside the project i am working on. The other New Years Resolution would have to be to stop redoing my pages. I have a very bad habit for going through my albums and being disgusted in what i did 8 years ago and i start adding and pulling stuff up. I guess that's what happens when you are your own worst critic! It will be hard!!!
So what has been happening pretty much the same, cleaning,baking,crafting,more doctors,new medications! The highlight was my little sister came for a visit and of course the end of the school holidays. My baby is now a big year 3 and i sadly have one more year with my sweet baby girl before she leaves me too. I love being a mum and it is sad when they go to school. Anyways enough ranting now for some sharing!

I still have alot to share as i have been scrapbooking alot,lucky me!!! Right now i am working on pages with a kit i bought from a local shop full of delish yummies from Prima. So until next time, which hopefully isn't too long, Blessed Be!

 Today has been a wonderful and productive day! Ontop of the general millions of loads of washing, general cleaning and meal preps of the day i have as well turned a little room downstairs into a quaint little play room for my girls. The theme is all pink and it is filled with the toys that cannot fit into their room. I do love how it turned out and even found some delightful wall decor for them. I also baked some cupcakes, PINK ones of course. I think my sister enjoys them the most. I recycled an old jar into my "bits and bobs" jar and am quite happy with how it turned out. I drizzled alcohol ink all down the sides and stamped a bubble wrap image on it and then layered a few flowers and a prima butterfly. It was actually quick and easy and now an old jar is a masterpiece. So although the day is not over yet i must mosy on off as i am preparing a roast pork dinner and still have so much more work to do. Until next time Blessed Be and keep creating!

Happy New Year!!!!

Wow life has been going along quite quickly it seems! I have enjoyed it immensely. My life has consisted of moving, getting better,  cooking, cleaning, baking, creating and spending time with my beloved family. We are living it seems our very own sea change, except no sea we have country! We are blessed to raise chickens and ducks and grow our own veggies. Life could not be better.... except i would really like a pig!!!! So it has been a hectic life but a good life especially with the lead up to Christmas. I made presents for family but unfortunately forgot to take the after photos lol! The girls and i made some Christmas decorations and we also made our own Bonbons because i am sick of having crap in our Bonbons. They are always filled with bad jokes, crappy gifts and the dreaded hat that fits nobody! So on top of this my little sister has come to visit, i really do dread when my children turn into teenagers!!! She has opened my world into the world of Tumblr, now i am not impressed with most stuff posted but some of the pictures are amazing and some of the sayings! I may just tumblr- ise my blog. Anyways enough blogging now for some sharing. I have been scrapping away experimenting and ripping, inking, Glimmermisting and layering. I am happy i get to scrap for me now and if you don't like what i do then you don't have to look at it. We all scrap different and so long as you scrap how you want to then who cares what people think! Enjoy and Blessed Be!

So unfortunately i didn't get as much done as i had wanted to. I am not completely sure exactly how i feel about these pages i like them a little but you know me picky picky lol. I have also been asked to share my darling daughters pages inspired by her mummy. Love her to bits. Both of my pages use a blend of that new ribbon from Green Tara, some old Rusty Pickle paper, some Kaisercraft, a bit more of this and that and of course Glimmermist.

 Anyways yes i have been scrapping and it has been therapeutic because it is for me and of course those who look at my blog. Alot of mess and slap and stick because if i over think a page it doesn't work. I try not to have a plan too firmly set in my head because once i start scrapping it rarely ever turns out how i planned.

 Really having trouble taking the photos lately Grrr think it is time to tell Santa i want a new camera. Anyways until next time enjoy life. Blessed be!

WOW WE ARE IN JUNE ALREADY!!!!

So the year is flying by so quickly and i still have so much to do hmmmm don't know how i am going to get it all done. On a happier note i have spent some of the afternoon scrapping with my darling daughters. So sweet because my oldest kept saying "You inspire me mum" as she quite openly copied my pages, love her to bits. So on my desk i have a small pile of new things and a pile of old stuff i just want to use up(mostly because i don't really want to find a home for it). All the pages consist of Glimmermist, Alcohol inks, Inks and doillies as well as a bit o' my style. I know the photos aren't the best but i am tired and a little slack and my famous once upon a time journaling is a thing of the past lately but i love the pages as they still have what i need on them.
