Hello lovelies! Last night i stayed up a little too late scrapping but once i started i didn't want to stop until i finished. I bought the Kaisercraft Botanical Odyssey range the other day and have been itching to use it so when i saw the sketch i new i wanted to use it. I am always a sucker for circles. Ha ha my daughter turned nine the other week but i decided to scrap some photos of her eighth birthday because i loved the cake and i am a terrible chronological scrapper. My daughters eighth birthday was a cool one though, i made three super chocolate cakes. I love my chocolate cake recipe it is the absolute best ever. But anything homemade is generally better than store bought, unless you can't cook/bake than you should quit and buy it, lol. Anyway here is my page, sorry for the photo it is a little overcast here today :)
Here is the sketch that inspired me...
So TFL!! Until next time keep scrapping!!

Wow Billie-Jean you are scrappin up a storm! 3 posts in 3 days.. good on you.. I hope to get in and do more scrapping this week... I have scrolled down and really love each of the 3 layouts.. I love the cake you made.. made my mouth water that is for sure.. YUMMOOO! and a perfect take on the sketch I think.. and the layout about your Dad is stunning...thanks for the step by step.. I really love seeing how a layout comes together, and I love the layout the way it is.. the hinges and distressing and masking are great details for a blokey page... and those skissadilla sketches sure can get a bit wild, but I love your take on it.. a creative and free layout..I love the thread under the photo... well I hope you can keep scrapping!! and thanks for coming by and leaving such lovely comments too!
