Top 10 of 2014!

So we have made it to New Years Eve! Almost time to say goodbye to 2014 and welcome the wonderful 2015. I hope you have all had a memorable 2014 and 2015 brings you just as much happiness! I wish i could say i have made some New Years resolutions but the fact is i do not make these because most of the time i do not keep them, shame on me.

So what will the new year bring....

I aim to create more, blog more and live my life to the fullest. I am going to actually attempt a weekly project life, wish me luck! Project life is still a new concept to me as i only took the plunge this year. I have been collecting products all year too, ready to start the new year. Armed with my Epson Picturemate, my Heidi Swapp planner (which is still waiting to arrive) and an eagerness to  achieve i think i can give it a fair shot.

I want to spend all my spare time with my lovely little family enjoying all those special moments. I also continue my studies in 2015 and i aim to always give 100%. I have come along way since i first began and although i still have so far to go the end of the tunnel is nearing and i am absolutely flabbergasted at how much i have learnt.

The new year is also special to me as it is the last year my eldest is in primary school. I cannot believe how quickly time has flown and how she is coming into her own being.

So now onto my top 10. It is always so hard to choose but this year i feel i have hardly created anything so it was easy to pick some clear winners.

First some Project Life pages.....

Then some Scrapbooking pages....

(I am so glad i took a photo of this as i no longer have the original. Unfortunately this was one of the pages selected by Northbridge Publishing to be published and i have not received it back :( such a shame but i have my fingers crossed it will return!)

Lastly a Smashbooking  page...

Ok beautiful peeps that is my top 10. Thanks for stopping by and i look forward to popping by and seeing what you all share as your top creations :) HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.

Scrappy Canary challenge # 2

Wow last page to share for the Scrappy Canary Cyber Crop. I am so happy with all six of my pages! This last one really kept me on my toes and i almost didn't finish it but it is something i really wanted to get down as it was a major part of my childhood that i wanted my girls to know. This challenge is one i could do again and again though because i only did one row. I chose arrows, a dark background and a journalling card. I wish i used more cards too from my ever expanding collection of journaling cards :0

So here is my last completed page yay!!!! I wonder how many of you have met my friend Fred??

So my lovelies that is all i have to share this weekend. I have so much more to scrap and such little time. May you always find time to create :) Blessed be!

Scrappy Canary challenge #5

Hello lovelies! I cannot believe the weekend is already over :( However i have been having so much fun getting my hands messy scrapping. For the sketch i chose to scrap me but of course put my own little spin on it :)

This page was so hard to create i think because of the dark background but i persevered and am now pretty happy with it. I even managed to use sequins!! A newish item to use for me!

Thanks for dropping by and i hope you have had plenty of time to get your hands messy!!

Scrappy Canary Challenge #6

Good Evening everyone! I have had quite a busy little afternoon and even managed to finish another of the Scrappy Canary challenges. I had so much fun with this challenge and got a little messy :)

To create my background i stamped and used my Gelatos to colour it in and then added bits and pieces until i was happy. What made the page even better was my beautiful daughter, she is such a beautiful little thing :)

Excuse the poor lighting of my page but it is quite late here and dark lol. The photo does not do it justice! Any how that is it from me i am now off to scrap some more :) Take care xx

Scrappy Canary challenge #3

Hello lovelies! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend :) I am multi tasking this weekend and i am on a mission to complete all the Scrappy Canary challenges. So fingers crossed i can finish them. The challenge i am sharing today is challenge #3.

I had such a hard time finishing this because i so badly wanted to add black. I always struggle with pastel because using black is pretty much on all my pages. However i challenged myself and didn't use it, yay me. I did however use some helpful advice and matted my page in a beautiful gold paper and i now love my page immensely. So enough jibber jabber here is my page i created of our beautiful bubba girl :)

So i am off to keep scrapping! Thanks for stopping by!

Scrappy Canary challenge #1

Hello lovelies. I am sorry i haven't been around very much but blogging is one of those things that has taken a major backseat in my life. However i have managed to work in a few minutes to share today. Today i am sharing a page i created for a challenge over at Scrappy Canary. I have been buying their kits for a little bit and must say i have loved them all :) Each month i um and aah over all the little bits and pieces i receive in them. It is like Christmas every month lol. This weekend i joined them in a Cybercrop and managed to complete a few pages. So over the next few days i will be sharing what i have created. The first challenge of theirs is...

I must admit orange is vast becoming one of my favourite colours. So i created a page which will go alongside my Halloween PL page which i will share when i get around to completing it. I plan to journal and add many photos to it hence the simplicity of my 12x12 page. This year was the first time we actually celebrated Halloween as my whole street got right involved and it was a great night :) So be prepared for some more Halloween pages! Anyway without further adieu here is my page for the challenge.

Aren't the little pumpkins so cute? I salvaged them from a bag my daughter got on her travels. Anyway that is it from me for now. Happy Scrapping!

I have been Project Lifeing my life away.

Hello wonderful peeps!! What has been happening in your neck of the woods? I hope plenty of crafting! I have been frantically trying to get ahead with all my scrappy commitments and of course have some time to create for myself as Uni starts again  next week and then there will not be much time for anything else. Time is something i wish i had more of. It just goes so fast these days. One way i have managed to get some scrappy time in is the Project Life style. I am kicking myself for not keeping up with it weekly, because we do so much, but for now it is impossible for me. I have trouble keeping track of the school weeks and uni weeks let alone the actual weeks of the year, lol. So i stopped way back in week 6 i think. For now i just scrap the moments that mean the world to me and as they come. So here is what i have been working on.

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend :)

Challenge no.30 for Scrap Africa!

Hello everyone! Another fortnight is upon us and i have a wonderful challenge to share with you all. I do hope you all find some time to play along with us because it is a good one. This fortnights challenge is hosted by the delightful Erica. The challenge is SCRAP YOUR STASH!! Yes you heard it. The challenge is to Scrap Your Stash older than about 3 years - products that are possibly not so "in" at the moment for e.g. rub-ons and eyelets.
I managed to rummage through all my old stickers and those ghastly rubons which have rubbed all over themselves lol. This is probably my favourite page this year and it came together so quick and easy :) so we would love it if you pop over and show us what you have found in your stash and created with here.

Getting back into the swing of things :)

Wow it has been a while since my last post :( Life is just one of those things that just sweeps us up and before we know it time has spun out of control. Where would we all be without a little drama thrown in too :) So what as been happening?? Once again i had computer troubles, which is a complete catastrophy for me because i need it for my degree, so i fell behind a little and both my girls injured themselves and we have had Easter  and Mothers Day and a whole heap of fun in between, not to mention my partner is away alot these days for work which does suck too. I have hardly scrapped these past few months but it comes with the territory i suppose. But i am looking forward to stepping into my room on Vacation Week. Woohoo! Anyway enough ranting and raving now for some sharing :)
So today i am sharing sketch number 30 for Scrap Africa. If you don't know already we have some talented new ladies who joined our team recently and i just love what they have created this month. Not to mention our super guest designers too. So onto my page, it is quite simple as i get back into the hang of creating. But it is a page that i loved created as it is my girls latest hobby.

I even used some of the box on my layout and some of the actual loom bands themselves. So if you would like a fun challenge pop over as we would love to see your creation :) The sketch is up for your own interpretation.

Thanks for popping by and until next time take care :)

Scrap Africa challenge 27!

Hello ladies i hope you are all well. I finally found some more time to share this fortnights challenge over at Scrap Africa. I am finding it hard to get my mojo up and running these days since i am heavily into study mode. It is a juggling act these days but a juggling act i am so happy to be doing :)
Anyway this fortnight i managed to pull together a reasonably simple page for me but i still love the outcome. Lots of bold colours and an absolutely gorgeous photo of my eldest. I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. I kept the title simple, something i believe in so much. If you are not happy then is it worth it??? I glimmermisted my stars and stitched randomly over them to adhere them to my page. I decided not to stitch my buttons because i thought there would be too much stitching then.

So that is it from me, a nice quite rest of Sunday for my little family. Take care xx

March Life in Details reveal!!!!

It is with great enthusiasm that i bring this months challenge for Life in Details. Not only have we got an awesome Smash book challenge but we are also having a Smash book DT call. If you Smash book and would love to be considered please indicate by including "DT" after your name in the link up when you enter your challenge submission for this month.

Which brings us to this months challenge....this months challenge is to Smash about ,depending on which hemisphere you live in,  the first day of spring or the first day of autumn. I live in the Southern Hemisphere so March is the first day of Autumn.
To create my page i used a new range of Smash books i prchased the other week. The patterns are just the same as the K&Co but they are alot smaller.  I had no real plan what i was going to scrap so i gathered a heap of stuff that screamed Autumn to me. Funny we always go bike riding in Autumn.

So that is it from me, sorry for my absence these days but lfe is super busy right now. Take care xx until next time.

I can't believe it is March already!!! I need it to slow down just a little bit. Anyway i am just popping in today to share my page i created with this fortnights challenge over at Scrap Africa. we had to use a sketch and i decided now was the time to try and attempt a double layout. I stretched the sketch out and rotated it.
I am so proud of myself too because i used yellow as my background, no white lol!!

"Addicted 2 U" - OUAS page

Hello all!! Lovely weather we are having in Northern Queensland at the moment, lord knows we need it :) Just hoping it carries itself outwest a little more! Today i am popping in to share with you my page i created for the OUAS challenge this month. My page changed a million times but i just went with the flow and came out with something i am reasonably happy with. I originally planned to use the lyrics to the Black Eyed Peas song "Just Can't Get Enough" but then decided to add more. My partner and i have been on a very long and rough roller coaster of a ride over the years but here we are 13 odd years later going stronger than ever, enjoying silly times together. I even pulled out my sewing machine for this one too, lol! Circles again too, love circles so much.

So this months challenge is "Totally addicted to...." and of course you must use this sketch....

Here is my page.

Just a little close up!
TFL and have a great day :) I am off to make some RAKS to send off :)

Challenge #3 for Challenge Yourself

Hey everyone, i thought i would take a break from the housework and pop in and share the page i created for Challenge Yourself. It was a bit hard to start it off but it came together in the end. I tried so hard to get the palette right but not sure if i did, lol. Yes, i am still scrapping photos of our Christmas trip away. There were so many car selfies taken, what else do you do when you have nothing to look at for kilometres and kilometres lol!

So here is the inspiration, an awesome colour combo and the extra challenge of creating a layout about someone you love.

So that is it from me for now, enjoy the rest of your day :)

Ok so i am back again with another post. I have been scrapping a storm lately the creative soul of mine wants to sit and create all day and not sleep. I have so many pages i want to share with you for various challenges but i only want to share each one with you in its own post. I think each page deserves its own piece of glory don't you?? So i thought i would share with you my page i created using the Scrapbook Creations Inspiration Board. Have you seen their blog and their new styled magazine i really am loving it :)

So my page i created, i thought i would take a fancy shot first, lol.

Of course a better view. I love this photo so so so very much. It is of my Nana and my Grandad in their hey day. My Grandfather passed when i was 5 and so i do not remember him :( and my Nana has been battling cancer for awhile now and no longer has hair :( but i love her to pieces!  My page took several hours and forever to dry but i had fun creating it.

Just sharing the inspiration Board, isn't it beautiful. The colours are really not normally ones i use but i loved the challenge :)
