Just a quick share!!

Hello lovelies!!!!! Just popping in to wish you all a Happy Easter!!! I hope you find time to relax and enjoy the break!

My Little Bunnies after the Easter Bonnet Parade :)

I know i have not been around of late but unfortunately this will not be changing in a hurry. These days i barely scrap, life is too busy and any spare time i have, i spend with my little family. I will of course still be sharing my Design Team pages for Scrap Africa and i still have a few Guest Designer roles here and there, but as for anything else i fear i may not get any time to just play. I am ok with this because sometimes change needs to happen. I love my life 100% at the moment and all the people i have in it. My friends are definately keepers and always, always are there for me supporting me and my choices. It has been hard to find these friends as i have had alot of duds over the years believe me!!! People who feel they must share my business with the world or try to tell me how to live my life and quite frankly i have had enough of these people. Anyway dear people lets move on, out with the negative and in with the positive. Live each day as it comes and have no regrets :)

I thought i would share a few pages that i have created just because. I did these a few weeks ago when i still had some time up my sleeves.

Oh and i almost forgot my pages for January's Prima BAP and PPP. My page for the PPP actually got featured which you can see the original post here. So here is my BAP using this sketch...

Challenge Number 15 for Scrap Africa

Hello lovelies!!!! I hope we are all keeping well??? My life right now has been so busy that i have hardly had time for the little things in life like blogging and scrapping. Uni is taking up so much of my time but i know it will all be worth it in the end :)

Today i am here to share with you my DT page for Scrap Africa. This challenge is hosted by Patricia Basson and her challenge to you is this:

Use only plain card stock, NO patterned papers. But you are asked to use at least 3 colours of card stock or more if you want to...and these you can alter by stamping or embossing, whatever way you want to.

As well as the lovely DT we have also got some lovely Guest Designers joining in for the challenge as well. So pop over here to check out the reveal. You still have 13 days to join in the fun and win a fab prize from Patricia or Zeus and Zoe :) I hope to see you there :)

Here is my page i have created for the challenge.

To create my page I started with a white piece of cardstock then I added texture paste and Glimmermists. I then preceded to stamp all over it. My yellow matt has also been stamped on. I have cut my title out of cardstock as well. All the flowers are made from cardstock along with the other embellies. The only things added that are not cardstock are the split pins and some bling, oh and some microbeads :)

Until next time keep scrapping :)

CSI Case # 62 - "The Gambler Is Your Song"

Let me firstly say sorry for the bad photo, it is a little glary. The weather here in Queensland is a little blah to say the least. It has pretty much been raining non stop for a few weeks now and i am forgetting what the sun looks like, lol. Anyway i hope everyone keeps safe :)

So onto my page :) Wow this was a little tricky, thanks Debbi! I almost couldn't find the colours :) But i persevered!!! It is also my second page as Special Investigator for March :) Ok so from the title no my daughter does not have a gambling problem, lol! This is the song my partner use to sing to her at bedtime. Singing to my girls is something we have always done and not just the conventional nursery rhymes either. I believe music is something every kid should experience from as young an age as possible, i have always rambled off songs to them whether they be real or made up. The kids have always loved my nonsical approach to everything. Making up songs is something i have always done and often they are poetical in form and quite silly to say the least. Maybe when they are older they may not find them funny any more but while they still smile i will continue to do it!

So for my page i have used the colours, as best as i could, and from the evidence i have only used wood and circles although i do believe leaves is coming close to being labelled as plants, yes ?  The journaling had me stumped for awhile but i kept it short and sweet in the end. I chose to document about the Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler"  song and preserve a memory from my daughters childhood :) Oh and this week the fabulous Em Starface has supplied a sketch. I have vaguely worked with it :)

So here is this weeks case..............

Without further adeiu here is my page....

I hope you have a great week and i will stop by again soon :)

I am Special Investigator for March at CSI!!!

Hello lovelies!!! I am just popping in to share some fantastic news. I will be a Special Investigator for CSI for the month of March. I was asked to be one back in December but unfortunately due to personal circumstances i had to decline but Debbi has allowed me to join in the fun for March. I am super excited as i play along as often as i can and absolutely love each and every case. They always push me so much to go above and beyond my comfort zone. To check out my profile and all the other Special Investigators and Guest designers pop over here.

So this weeks case was fun, such a lovely palette and some lovely evidence.

I took inspiration from a poem i found the other day.  So i chose to use it as a way of an aspiration to my girls. I just hope my girls will always share a special bond :) My evidence saw me use butterflies, fabric ( which are the flowers), a plain white background ( well it was lol), and buttons.

Okay so TFL! Your comments mean the world to me and i try to share some love back but i am really strapped for time these days so i thank you in advance :) Take care and until next time keep scrapping :)

Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge #15

Hello lovelies i hope life is treating you well ?????  I have been so so so busy lately that i have barely had time to think. It has been good for my OCD but, as i am in just get it done mode when it comes to my housework as i spend most of my time studying, working, teaching, scrapping and spending time with my family. Anyway here is my page i have created for Scrap Africa using sketch #15. I love this photo of my Dad and my youngest. My children are not lucky enough to see their Grandparents very often but when they do they have so much fun. I think it is a good thing in a way as they do not take their Grandparents for granted.  We had a ritual in Gladstone of feeding the ducks on a regular basis and here my Dad and daughter are getting ready to do just that. Alot of the bling is from SA Crafters. I won over at OUAS the other month and was sent a great big heap of beautiful bling and ribbons. I was shocked at how much was in there :)

Here is this months sketch. Why not pop over here and see the other girls inspiration :) I hope you will play along :)

So that is it from me for today, short and sweet! I am hoping to get back here later for some other special announcements!! TFL! Take care!
